Group Exercise Classes
We offer a TON of Classes! LFC features the best classes on the South Shore, just ask our dedicated members! All classes on the group exercise schedule are included in membership. We have classes that strengthen your heart, improve your muscle tone, increase endurance, improve balance and posture and reduce stress. And remember, working out with a group is not only great motivation - but lots of fun too!

A popular interval class that mixes calisthenics and body weight exercises with cardio and strength training. These boot camps are designed in a way to be different all the time, and push our participants harder than they'd push themselves. We want to keep you guessing - and challenge you differently every class! Although our instructors may push you like a drill sergeant, our goal is to offer encouragement rather than intimidation. We want you to have tons of fun – but please be prepared for some high intensity training!
A Hindu spiritual and ascetic discipline, including breath control, simple meditation, and the adoption of specific bodily postures, which is widely practiced for health and relaxation. A regular yoga practice will help transform both your mind and body ultimately helping you find an inner calmness/peace, enhance your balance and stability, and leave you feeling stronger and more centered.
Ditch the workout and join the party! This fun and easy to follow cardio dance class combines high-energy and motivating Latin music with unique moves and combinations that make you feel like you are partying on the dance floor. Easy to follow, and something everyone can do - Zumba is the best way to "dance away your worries". We promise, exercise has never been so fun!
Zumba Toning® combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba® moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use light hand weights to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs. This class is the perfect way for cardio enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast.
Zumba Step is a lower-body workout that incorporates Zumba routines and step aerobics. High-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba® moves to create a calorie-torching, dance fitness-party.
This class offers three segments of different types of cardio, strength and core based formats that can change every week. Each segment will be approximately 20 minutes long. If you are somebody that likes variety, then you will love the spontaneity of this class. Fusing together intensities and different types of exercises create intervals and variations that shock your body into getting more fit!
Blast your cardio fitness level through the roof with a full class of the best of any type of cardio training the instructor feels like throwing at you! Some days you may do kickboxing, some days step, some days high/low impact, some days sports conditioning – but bottom line, you will challenge your aerobic and anaerobic thresholds every time. Come prepared to sweat, breathe hard and get super fit!
PiYo speeds everything up—including your results—by introducing you to dynamic, flowing Pilates and Yoga sequences that can burn serious calories at the same time as they lengthen and tone your muscles and increase your flexibility.
This mat workout is based on techniques developed by Joseph Pilates which includes concentrated work on core strength, body alignment and muscular balance. The overall goal of Pilates is to lengthen and tone the muscles of the core without adding bulk. If you are looking for that long, lean dancer body this is the class for you!
Circuit training is an excellent boredom buster! Whether you're cycling, running steps, jumping rope, doing squats, planks, or conditioning on the stability ball - your mind won't have time to wander, and your body will turn into a calorie burning machine! All fitness levels welcome.
This workout combines elements of the standard Barre-Method workout with additional emphases on the core (whole-body exercises targeting the muscles which play the greatest role in body change). The workout is followed by intense stretching that makes you feel longer and leaner.
